mso-bidi-font-family: Arial;">古城天台有一条名三角街的老街，不过现在的三角街只有半边了，因为靠东边的建筑已全部拆除，原先狭窄小巷那种幽古的感觉已彻底地消失了。暴露在蓝天下的古巷，让人感到非常的空旷，有一种失重的感觉。小城的许多人都已忘却了这条小巷，而将其北边的中山西路靠近三角街的地段错当成了三角街。</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; 【柒】上巷·中巷·下巷


   溪头有三条小弄从城墙外的墙角通往始丰溪，从西到东，分别为上巷、中巷和下巷。三条小巷相隔30多米，其中，中巷是最为热闹的，当年的溪头为始丰溪的水运码头，从城里的中山西路，经三角街，过广济门的城门洞，就是中巷了，中巷连接着广济门与溪头码头。上巷与下巷则是属于百姓的，二条小巷的二侧均为民房。这种格局基本上沿袭到上个世纪末，现溪头属于旧城改造的范围，大部分民房都在拆迁之中。

    现在的中巷从人民西路通往溪岸西路，人民西路也是上世纪70年代旧城墙拆除后所建成的大街，溪岸西路也就是当年的大塘街，原来的大塘街临溪而建，作为水运码头的商业街，自然是热闹非凡，当上世纪80年代沿溪建起了防洪大坝后，溪岸东路也就成为一条弄堂了。

    中巷三米多宽，北端有几幢民国风格的洋房，二层的楼房很有气派，现已基本拆了，中巷的两边多为石板墙的民房，巷的南端为涌禹庙，涌禹庙始建于清嘉庆年间，原庙后有石鱼，故当坡街许氏在此建庙时，称其为“涌鱼庙”，因溪头每年都涨大水，相传大禹治水，于是，人们就将其更名为“涌禹庙”。现庙中祀文昌、关羽，因关羽的生日为五月十三，所以溪头就有了五月十三送大水饭的风俗，这一天溪头人家家户户都做馒头等糕点，送于城里的朋友与亲戚，一旦溪头做大水了，朋友与亲戚也必定挣着竹排，送大水饭于溪头人的家中。在涌禹庙的东北面，溪头的古戏台还在，当时这儿是十分热闹的，戏台两侧的柱子上还有一幅对联，为乡贤姜作新于1919年所撰，对联言：“山水助清音，子夜弦歌弥嘹亮；柳桥团落絮，翁离妙舞共蹁跹”。现此联已迁至涌禹庙内。涌禹庙的东边，就是横跨溪丰溪的广济桥，广济桥建于1926年，为六孔的水泥桥，桥两面石刻的“广济桥”三字分别由王震和叶乃瀚所书，这座当时被称为“江南第一桥”于上世纪80年代倒塌，现只留二孔，成为一座断桥。

    中巷的东边为下巷，下巷只有二米来宽，几经弯曲通往溪岸。两旁的石板墙建筑成了天台民居的一大特色。民居一楼的墙体为半米来宽，二米多高的的石板相拼在一起，在一人高处，往往雕一石窗，用于采光通风，图案多为直条等几何图形，简朴得很，二层才为砖头墙体。溪头的民居只所以采用石板作为墙体，是因为对岸的水南村盛产石料，同样考虑到每年的涨大水，石板墙能经得起洪水的浸泡。下巷的西侧，有一幢民国时期所建的三合院，因临水而建，故名“得月楼”，宅院的两侧建有小天井，东边小天井的水井旁，由石板构成一鱼池，极有情趣。49年后，得月楼曾为县棉织厂用房，得月楼已于去年拆除。

   中巷的西边为上巷，相比之下上巷最为狭窄，只有一米来宽，两侧多为石板墙建筑的民居。在上巷的西边，姜宝山与涌江堂现也处于拆迁的范围。姜宝山位于溪岸西路50号，宅主姜竹林为光绪间候补守备，姜宝山也是天台古航运最早的“过塘行”之一，原建筑为三个半大道地，49年后，其中二个半道地为县棉织厂厂房。

   涌江堂坐落于溪岸西路47号，此民居有新旧两幢宅院，老宅始建于康熙年间，为天台姜氏高祖元旦所建，世称书香门第。新宅为清末民初的建筑，宅主为姜佩康，原宅中留有许多匾额，如宅主所书的对联：“筑室临流，半村半廊；开轩面圃，可读可耕。”和褚传诰先生所写的“乐鱼轩”、“滨待楼”等。现宅中的匾额均为后人重写。

  处于拆迁中的溪头，倒处可见的是“拆”字的标示，中巷、上巷和下巷这三条弄堂和弄堂两侧的民居都将从古城中消失。
